Deep spiritual release of energies or souls that remain on this plane.

This cleansing is not a common energetic cleansing. It is performed when there is a stronger spiritual energy that has positioned itself in a person's body, affecting their physical, emotional, and spiritual balance.

According to the Andean worldview, in some cases a person may carry a spiritual attachment of souls that still remain on this plane, whether from deceased relatives or other souls that have not managed to continue their journey to the other world.

Liberation and Light for the Path

These souls may stay close to the living because they seek to free themselves from accumulated negative energies or because they still maintain an emotional bond with the person or place where they lived. In the Q'ero tradition, these negative energies are known as Jucha, which represents dense energetic burdens that need to be purified to restore balance. For this reason, Cleansing of the Positioned Soul is considered a stronger and deeper healing than other spiritual cleansings.

What does it mean to have a positioned soul?

Having a positioned soul means that a spiritual energy or the spirit of a deceased person remains connected to the energetic field of someone who is alive. This can occur for different reasons:

  • Strong emotional attachment
  • Souls without a path
  • Accumulated energies
  • Family bonds

How is it identified?

In the Q'ero tradition, spiritual masters identify these energies through the spiritual reading of the coca leaf.
